BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0001] 1. Field of the Invention

[0002] The present invention relates to a ventilated shoe-pad, especially to a shoe-pad with multiple soft ventilated bodies that are ventilated and sweat-absorbable and have mildew-resistant properties.

[0003] 2. Description of Related Art

[0004] Shoe-pads are make of flexible materials to provide appropriate flexibility and support inside shoes. The shoe-pads can improve comfort of the shoes and protect the feet from injury.

[0005] Conventional shoe-pads are made of EVA material because the material is flexible and cheaper. Although EVA material is flexible and provides support, it does not breathe and does not readily absorb sweat. After wearing shoes with EVA shoe-pads even for a short period of time, a user's feet will feel hot and sweaty because the shoe pads do not breathe, mildew grows oil the shoe-pads, and the shoe-pads give off an offensive odor. All of the above restrict the practicability and comfort of the shoe-pads.

[0006] The present invention provides a ventilated shoe-pad to obviate or mitigate the aforementioned problems.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0007] The main objective of the present invention is to provide a ventilated shoe-pad that gives extended comfort and extends the useful life of the shoe pad.

[0008] The ventilated shoe-pad comprises a shoe-pad body, a ventilated layer and an optional heel cup. The shoe-pad body is a spongy material and has a heel, a top, a bottom, multiple holes, multiple soft ventilated bodies and an optional protective lip. The multiple holes are formed separately in the shoe-pad body. The soft ventilated bodies are formed from foaming emulsion respectively inside the holes. The protective lip is formed around and extends up from the heel. The ventilated layer is attached to the top of the shoe-pad body. The heel cup is attached to the bottom of the shoe-pad body around the heel.

[0009] The shoe-pad body is EVA material, and the soft ventilated bodies in the shoe-pad body breathe and absorb sweat. Consequently, the user's feet stay dry and comfortable, and the ventilated shoe-pad will not mildew easily and will not give off an offensive odor. The ventilated shoe-pad improves the extended comfort and practical durability of shoe-pads.

[0010] Other objectives, advantages and novel features of the invention will become more apparent from the following detailed description when taken in conjunction with the accompanying drawings.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0011] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a ventilated shoe-pad in accordance with the present invention;

[0012] FIG. 2 is a cross sectional rear view of the ventilated shoe-pad in FIG. 1; and

[0013] FIG. 3 is a perspective view of sequential semi-products of the ventilated shoe-pad in FIG. 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT

[0014] With reference to FIGS. 1, 2 and 3, a ventilated shoe-pad in accordance with the present invention comprises a shoe-pad body (20), a ventilated layer (24) and an optional heel cup (25).

[0015] The shoe-pad body (20) is a spongy material (10) and comprises a heel, a top, a bottom, multiple holes (11), multiple soft ventilated bodies (12) and an optional protective lip (23).

[0016] The holes (11) are formed separately through the shoe-pad body (20). The soft ventilated bodies (12) breathe well, are securely held respectively in the holes (11) in the shoe-pad body (20) and may be made from a foaming emulsion respectively inside the holes (11). The protective lip (23) provides support and is formed around and extends up from the heel of the shoe-pad body (20). The ventilated layer (24) is attached to the top of the shoe-pad body (20). The heel cup (25) is attached to the bottom of the shoe-pad body (20) around the heel of the shoe-pad body (20) to complete the ventilated shoe-pad.

[0017] The ventilated shoe pad as described has the following advantages. The shoe-pad body (20) provides appropriate flexibility and support, and the soft ventilated bodies (12) breathe and absorb sweat. Consequently, the ventilated shoe pad significantly mitigates the problems of mildew and giving off an offensive odor and keeps the shoe dry. It indeed improves the extended comfort and practical durability of the shoe-pad.

[0018] Even though numerous characteristics and advantages of the present invention have been set forth in the foregoing description together with details of the structure and function of the invention, the disclosure is illustrative only. Changes may be made in detail especially in matters of shape, size, and arrangement of parts within the principles of the invention to the full extent indicated by the broad general meaning of the terms in which the appended claims are expressed.
