Each base element has a generally flat structure so devised as to be placed on the ground. Each pole may be inserted into a base means to hold it in a generally vertical orientation. Each pole may be inserted into one or two wire mesh segments to support them in a generally vertical orientation. Each wire mesh segment may include one or more stiffening areas thereon. A weather compensation unit helps reduce the false alarm rate in adverse weather. (end of abstract)
