Title: Patello-femoral prosthesis
Abstract: A patello-femoral prosthesis is provided for replacing the engagement surfaces between the patella and the femur. The prosthesis is configured to cover the trochlear groove and extend into the intercondylar notch without extending onto the articulating surfaces of the condyles. A method is also provided for implanting a patello-femoral prosthesis in which a portion of the trochlear groove and intercondylar notch are resected and the prosthesis is implanted over the femur that had portions resected.
