At least one investor; At least one individual investment opportunity; An investment management tool, the investment management tool offers a plurality of investment related functions enabling the at least one investor to visually develop and manage at least one portfolio of investments comprised of the at least one investment opportunity through a graphical user interface; Wherein the graphical user interface utilizes visual portfolio building blocks that are: Individually representative of a constituent underlying investment opportunity; Individually addressable by the investor to access associated investment management functionality pertaining to the constituent underlying investment opportunity; and Individually customizable by the investor.

2. The investment management tool of claim 1, wherein the investment tool, supports the development and management of at least one multi-tiered portfolio, whereby the constituent underlying investment opportunity for a graphical portfolio building block in a multi-tiered portfolio structure consists of one individual investment opportunity or the direct sub-tier components in the hierarchical structure.
