Abstract: Disclosed is a hermetic compressor capable of reducing the number of parts and increasing working efficiency in the assembling process. The hermetic compressor includes a cylinder block having a compression chamber, and an assembly having a main body that includes an intake hole through which a refrigerant is drawn into the compression chamber and an exhaust hole through which the refrigerant is exhausted from the compression chamber and is coupled to one side of the cylinder block, and a cover that is coupled with the main body and includes a first resonant chamber communicating with the intake hole and a second resonant chamber communicating with the exhaust hole.
