Brief Patent Description - Full Patent Description - Patent Application Claims BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0001] 1. Field of the Invention [0002] This invention is related to the field of headwear and, more specifically, to headwear that has a light-reflecting and seemingly luminescent sheet adhering to aluminum bits, which form a logotype or emblem to highlight visually aesthetic effect and raise the product value. [0003] 2. Description of the Prior Art [0004] The baseball cap, in general, comprises the crown main body having a plurality of panels, the visor portion attached to a forward portion of the peripheral edge of the said crown portion, the headband attached to the lower part of the inside of the crown, and the size adjuster attached to an underside of the rear part of the crown. [0005] The purpose of using such headwear has gradually been extended from merely blocking sunlight to using it as a fashion item to express oneself. [0006] Among such trends set to this day are various attempts to display logotypes, emblems and other designs using numbers, letters, figures and drawings on the headwear for advertising and publicity purposes. To serve these purposes, a multitude of methods and materials have been used. One of the most common methods is using embroidery to present logotypes and emblems. Additionally, embroidery, rubber and metal patches are separately crafted and attached to the headwear by means of sewing or high-frequency welding. [0007] Despite the employment of quite a few different attempts and materials, ever-changing consumer needs have been requiring more evolutions that could stimulate their aesthetic sense and increase the product value. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0008] In view of the foregoing, the objective of this invention is to provide headwear having a light-reflecting and seemingly luminescent sheet adhering to aluminum bits to express logotypes and emblems, which stimulates the user's aesthetic sense and raise the product value. [0009] A typical headwear designed to serve this purpose in this invention comprises a crown main body having a plurality of panels, a visor portion attached to a forward portion of the peripheral edge of the said crown main body, a headband attached to the lower part of the inside of the crown, and a size adjuster attached to an underside of the rear part of the crown. Furthermore, attached to the said headwear is a light-reflecting and seemingly luminescent sheet adhering to aluminum bits made in the shapes of numbers, letters, figures and drawings to express logotypes and emblems. The source of the said seeming luminescence is tiny polygon-shaped aluminum bits and a transparent vinyl sheet. BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS [0010] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a headwear having a seemingly luminescent logotype. [0011] FIG. 2 is a sectional view of the part marked A-A' in FIG. 1. [0012] FIG. 3 is a developed view that explicates the principle of the seeming luminescence. DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT [0013] In describing preferred embodiments of the invention illustrated in the drawings, it is to be understood that these embodiments are given by way of illustration only. It is not intended that the invention be limited in its scope to the details of construction and arrangement of components set forth in the following description or illustrated in the drawings. Also, in describing the preferred embodiments, specific terminology will be resorted to for the sake of clarity. It is to be understood that each specific term includes all technical equivalents, which operate in a similar manner to accomplish a similar purpose. [0014] The present invention is directed to a sheet adhering to aluminum bits suitable for use with headwear of various types, but is described herein in connection with a baseball-style cap as shown in FIG. 1. It is understood that the inventive sweatband may also be used with other types of headwear or even alone. [0015] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of a headwear having a seemingly luminescent logotype, and FIG. 2 a sectional view of the part marked A-A' in FIG. 1. As shown in FIGS. 1 and 2, the headwear using a sheet adhering aluminum bits comprises the crown main body 1 formed of a plurality of panels, the visor portion 2 attached to a forward portion of the peripheral edge of the said crown portion. Attached on the front panel of the said crown body is a logotype made of a sheet adhering to aluminum bits. The said sheet adhering to aluminum bits comprises a transparent vinyl sheet and tiny hexagon-shaped aluminum bits densely attached to the sheet. An aluminum bit in a logotype made in the said structure reflects light and thus create the seeming luminescence, stimulating the user's aesthetic sense and raising the product value. The said sheet adhering to aluminum bits attached to the crown body may be attached to the visor portion as well as the size adjuster by employing the same method. Moreover, the aluminum bits on the vinyl sheet may be fabricated in other polygon shapes than hexagons. [0016] FIG. 3 is a developed view that explicates the principle of the seeming luminescence. As shown in FIG. 3, the sheet adhering to aluminum bits used for a logotype or emblem of a headwear in this invention comprises, as mentioned above, a transparent vinyl sheet and tiny hexagon-shaped aluminum bits attached to the sheet. The aluminum bits on a sheet in the said structure reflects incoming light and creates seeming luminescence in the user's point of view. [0017] The foregoing descriptions and drawings should be considered as illustrative only of the principles of the invention. The invention may be configured in a variety of shapes and sizes and is not limited by the dimensions of the preferred embodiment. Numerous applications of the present invention will readily occur to those skilled in the art. For example, the sheet adhering to aluminum bits may be incorporated into hats, caps and visors of other styles, or may be used alone. Therefore, it is not desired to limit the invention to the specific examples disclosed or the exact construction and operation shown and described. Rather, all suitable modifications and equivalents may be resorted to, falling within the scope of the invention. Continue reading...
