1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates to a golf club and, more particularly, to a golf club that is available for right-handed and left-handed users.

2. Description of the Related Art

A conventional golf club 10 in accordance with the prior art shown in FIGS. 1 and 2 comprises a shank 1 1, a grip portion 12 mounted on a first end of the shank 11, and a head portion 13 mounted on a second end of the shank and having a hitting face 14. However, the conventional golf club 10 is only available for a right-handed user or a left-handed user, thereby limiting the versatility of the conventional golf club 10. In addition, when the golf ball 15 is located at the left side or right side of an obstruction 16, such as a stone or a tree, the hitting face 14 of the head portion 13 cannot be used to hit the golf ball 15, so that the user has to replace another golf club to hit the golf ball 15 so as to move the golf ball 15 outwardly from the obstruction 16, thereby causing inconvenience to the user.

In accordance with the present invention, there is provided a golf club, comprising a shank, a grip portion mounted on a first end of the shank, and a head portion mounted on a second end of the shank and having a first side formed with a first hitting face and a second side formed with a second hitting face opposite to the first hitting face.

The primary objective of the present invention is to provide a golf club that is available for right-handed and left-handed users.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a golf club, wherein the head portion is provided with a first hitting face and a second hitting face opposite to the first hitting face, so that the golf club is available for right-handed and left-handed users, thereby enhancing the versatility of the golf club.

A further objective of the present invention is to provide a golf club, wherein the first hitting face and the second hitting face of the head portion are used to move the golf ball outwardly from the obstruction no matter when the golf ball is located at the right side or the left side of the obstruction, so that the user can move the golf ball outwardly from the obstruction easily and quickly without having to replace another golf club.

A further objective of the present invention is to provide a golf club, wherein the head portion is provided with a first hitting face and a second hitting face opposite to the first hitting face, so that the user can use the head portion to hit the golf ball from the right side or the left side of the head portion, thereby facilitating the user operating the golf club.
