BACKGROUND

[0001]1. Technical Field

[0002]The present invention relates to a fix device for memory.

[0003]2. General Background

[0004]Memory such as hard disk/CD driver are usually fixed on a computer's frame by screws. To fix or remove the memory, an operator needs to fix or remove the screws first. It's hard sledding and time consuming.

[0005]Therefore, what is needed is a fixing device which can fix the memory with no screws.

SUMMARY

[0006]A fixing device for memory is disclosed. The fixing device includes a frame, a pair of support rails, and an elastic piece. The frame includes two sides facing to each other. The support rails are mounted on the two sides of the frame. Each support rail defines a slide groove and a clip groove. The elastic piece is positioned between the support rails.

[0007]Further features and advantages will be provided or will become apparent in the course of the following detailed description.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008]FIG. 1 is a schematic, isometric view of a fixing device with memories assembled according to a first embodiment of the present invention;

[0009]FIG. 2 is another schematic, isometric view of the fixing device with the memories assembled of FIG. 1;

[0010]FIG. 3 is an schematic, isometric view of a load-supporting part of the fixing device of FIG. 1;

[0011]FIG. 4 is an schematic, isometric view of the memory of FIG. 1; and

[0012]FIG. 5 is an schematic, isometric view of the load-supporting part with the memory assembled of FIG. 1.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE EMBODIMENT

[0013]Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, a fixing device 50 is disclosed. The fixing device 50 is used for fixing memories 20. The memories 20 may be hard disks or CD drivers. The fixing device 50 includes a frame 10 and load-support 60 mounted on the frame 10.

[0014]The frame 10 is a regular polyhedron, for example, an oblong cube as that shown in FIG. 1. The frame 10 has six sides, i.e., top/bottom sides 11, left/right sides 13, and front/back sides 15, 16. The top/bottom sides 111 define a plurality of openings 17. The openings 17 of each of the top/bottom sides 11 are in a same shape, for example, a triangle, and are arranged in a form of a parallelogram. The front/back sides 15, 16 are open ended. The back side 16 of the frame 11 has two back bars 18 extending between edges of the back side 16 and the left/right sides 13.

[0015]Referring to FIG. 3, the load-supporting part 60 includes a pair of support rails 30 and an elastic piece 40. The support rail 30 defines a slide groove 35. The slide groove 35 includes a first horizontal groove 31, a tilted groove 32, and a second horizontal groove 33 connected together in that order. A clip groove 34 is L-shaped and communicates with the first horizontal groove 31. Two ends of the elastic piece 40 are connected to an end of each of the two support rails 30 correspondingly. The load-support 60 is mounted on the left/right sides 13 of the frame 10.

[0016]Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, an end of the first horizontal groove 31 is positioned at a common border between the front side 15 and the left side 13. Two ends of the elastic piece 40 are welded into the two back bars 18.

[0017]Referring to FIG. 4, the memory 20 includes a pair of first slide shafts 22 and a pair of second slide shafts 21.

[0018]Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, and 5, when the memory 20 is pushed under a push force, the first slide shafts 22 enter into and slide along the slide grooves 35, and the second slide shafts 21 successively enter into and slide along the slide grooves 35 until reaching the entrance of the clip grooves 34. Before the second slide shafts 21 enter into the entrance of the clip grooves 34, the memory 20 presses the elastic piece 40 and thus having an elastic deformation. After the second slide shafts 21 enter into the clip grooves 34, the push force to the memory 20 is removed, and then the second slide shafts 21 are locked in the clip grooves 34 due to the recoiling of the elastic piece 40. In this way, the memory 20 is fixed in the fixing device 50.

[0019]Moreover, it is to be understood that the invention may be embodied in other forms without departing from the spirit thereof. Thus, the present examples and embodiments are to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive, and the invention is not to be limited to the details given herein.
