[0001] This is a divisional of application Ser. No. 10/430,794, filed May 5, 2003, which is a continuation-in-part of application Ser. No. 09/933,312, filed on Aug. 20, 2001. The disclosure of application Ser. No. 10/430,794 is hereby incorporated herein by reference. FIELD OF THE INVENTION [0002] This invention relates to fasteners, and particularly to fasteners used to fasten cross members to the frames of trucks. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0003] Fasteners are known in the art; however, back off and loosening have continued to be a problem in fastening applications. The present invention is directed to overcoming this and other disadvantages inherent in prior-art systems. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0004] The scope of the present invention is defined solely by the appended claims, and is not affected to any degree by the statements within this summary. Briefly stated, a stud including, a first end and a second end, a torque transferring structure located at the first end, and a shaft provided with an axis and including a threaded surface that is provided with a locking thread.
