FIELD OF INVENTION [0001] The instant application relates to a device and a method for holding a tie in proper position. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0002] The use of ties to accessorize is generally known. However, holding a tie in its proper position is not always an easy task. In general, people come in different shapes and sizes, and such differences could cause various problems with holding a tie in proper position. [0003] U.S. Pat. No. 1,704,081 discloses a device for shaping neckties. The device for shaping neckties includes two half members made from sheet metal or other stiff sheet material, and each member is made tapering in width longitudinally. [0004] U.S. Pat. No. 1,775,431 discloses a stretching and smoothening device for neckties. The stretching and smoothening device for neckties consist essentially of an oblong strap with slightly tapering longitudinal edges. The strap is made of paper-board, wood, metal, hard rubber or similar material having one or both of its surfaces slightly roughened. [0005] U.S. Pat. No. 2,332,382 discloses a crease preventing tie holder. The crease preventing tie holder includes a trapezoidal cardboard adapted to form a support for four-in-hand ties which have been folded in half and engaged over the top end thereof with a band of paper being engaged about the cardboard and ties in a manner to retain the ties in position upon the cardboard. [0006] U.S. Pat. No. 2,487,486 discloses a necktie ironing board. The necktie ironing board includes a base member, an intermediate layer, and an outer covering layer. The base member is preferably formed of substantially stiff material such as metal. The base member is tapered to conform to the shape of the usual four-in-hand tie. The intermediate layer is formed of flannel, felt, blanket material, and the like. The outer covering is made of any thin suitable material to tightly fit the base member. The base member is inserted into the intermediate layer; and this is then inserted into the outer covering. [0007] U.S. Pat. No. 2,618,378 discloses a device for keeping neckties flat and in a pressed condition while being stored, shipped or handled to prevent the unintentional folding or creasing of the ends of the ties. This device includes a member of elongated, flat sheet material, which has an integral tongue attached thereto via an integral connection. [0008] U.S. Pat. No. 2,643,035 discloses a tie holder for holding a plurality of four-in-hand ties in smooth unwrinkled condition. The tie holder device includes an elongated generally rectangular flat base about which a necktie may be doubled, a first and second identical clamping members, means for mounting the clamping members onto the base member, and a single spring means. [0009] U.S. Pat. No. 2,702,658 discloses a necktie press form. The necktie press form includes an inner unit formed of a single piece of relatively thick metal, and an outer unit formed of a single piece of metal. The outer unit is joined to inner unit via fasteners. [0010] U.S. Pat. No. 3,060,603 discloses a necktie press. The press consists of a pair of rigid plates between which is mounted an envelope of moister-proof material containing a bed of moisture absorbing spongy material. The plates are held together by a pair of channel-shaped clamps, and are tapered in thickness in opposite directions from end to end. [0011] U.S. Pat. No. 3,191,822 discloses a necktie-forming device. The necktie-forming device includes a metal base, a sponge padding glued onto the top surface of the metal base, a sub-cover, and outer cover. [0012] Despite the forgoing efforts, there is a still a need for a cost effective device and method for holding a tie in proper position. [0013] SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0014] The instant invention is a device and a method for holding a tie in proper position. The device for holding a tie in proper position according to instant invention includes a sleeve having a backside, and means for attachment positioned on the backside. The method for holding a tie in proper position includes the steps of (1) providing a tie; (2) providing a device for holding the tie in proper position including a sleeve having a backside; and means for attachment positioned on the backside; (3) attaching the device for holding the tie in proper position via the means for attachment to the tie; and (4) securing the tie in proper position via the device for holding the tie in proper position.
