Title: Compressor and method of plate installation
Abstract: A compressor has an electric motor element section having a rotor and a stator provided on the outer peripheral side of the rotor. An oil separation plate is installed on an upper end surface of the rotor with an end plate in between. The end plate is provided with a projection. Through-holes in which the projection is fitted are provided in the oil separation plate as a separate plate member installed on the end plate. Portions of the projection that project from the through holes of the oil separation plate are crushed to integrate the oil separation plate and the end plate. A recess is provided in the upper face of the projection, and the recess allows deformation, at the time of the crush, of the projecting portions of the projection.
