Brief Patent Description - Full Patent Description - Patent Application Claims CROSS REFERENCE TO RELATED APPLICATION [0001] This patent application is related to and claims priority from U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 60/753,551 filed Dec. 23, 2005. FIELD OF THE INVENTION [0002] The present invention generally relates, in general, to work clothing and, more particularly, this invention relates to pants, or shorts, with interchangeable pockets which can be configured to the wearers preference based on several varying factors of need, temperature and utility and, still more specifically, this invention relates to interchangeable pockets which can be either permanently attached by sewing or removably attached by other means. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION [0003] When working in hot and muggy weather, workers can become uncomfortable rather quickly. For this reason, those wearing a cumbersome nail apron normally remove it after only a short period of time. Additionally, as is generally well known in the prior art, these nail aprons are rather limited in their configuration. [0004] The presently available types of work clothing do not offer the wearer the ability to be able to configure their clothing with the pockets necessary for holding items such as nails, hand tools, tape measures, and hammers based on the needs of the job they are working on. Furthermore, they do not provide the ability to reduce weight of bulky pockets that are not needed in order to save the fatigue of the wearer, especially in warmer more humid temperatures. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION [0005] The present invention provides a garment with a plurality of specialized pockets attached at least one of by sewing in a permanent fashion and removable with preselected type fasteners. The garment includes a belt portion for encompassing a waist of a wearer, and a pants panel portion having a right leg portion and a left leg portion attached to the belt portion. The garment can be, as commonly known, pants or shorts. The pants also include an attachment means removably attaching the removably attached specialized pockets to the pants or shorts. The present invention further includes specialized pockets of varying size and shape for holding a plurality of tooling and fastening equipment. The tooling can be hand tools, electric tools, or other commonly used work tools for performing work related activities. In addition to tooling the specialized pockets can also hold items such as nails, screws, rivets, or other items used in a work related activity. The specialized pockets are removably attached to the garment through the use of zippers, snaps, hook and loop or other attachment means. These can be interchangeable and removed as required based on the need of the wearer. This allows for the wearer to customize the pockets for comfort and utility based on weather, temperature, and basic needs. Additionally the pockets can be made from cotton, nylon, polyester, plastic or leather based on the intended use of the pocket, and preference of the wearer It is further within the scope of the invention for such specialized pockets to be permanently attached for cost reasons. OBJECTS OF THE INVENTION [0006] It is, therefore, one of the primary objects of the present invention to provide clothing with removable or permanent pockets. [0007] Another object of the present invention is to provide clothing with multiple pocket arrangements. [0008] A further object of the present invention is to provide clothing with removable or permanent pockets to reduce weight. [0009] Still a further object of the present invention is to provide specialized pockets which reduce fatigue and increase utility. [0010] Yet another object of the present invention is to provide clothing with adaptable pockets which can be configured to the wearer's preference. [0011] These and various other objects and advantages of the present invention will become more readily apparent to those persons skilled in the art after a full reading of the following detailed description, particularly, when such description is read in conjunction with the attached drawing and with the appended claims. DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWING [0012] FIG. 1 is a front view of a garment having a plurality of attached specialized pockets. DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE PREFERRED EMBODIMENT [0013] Referring now to FIG. 1 a garment (hereinafter referred to as work pants) with at least one of permanently attached, removably attached and configurable pockets constructed according to a presently preferred embodiment of the invention is generally indicated by the reference numeral 10. The work pants 10 further includes a waist portion 20 including a predetermined plurality of belt loops 21. The pants panel portion 30 includes a right leg portion 31 and a left leg portion 32 attached to the waist portion 20, for covering a predetermined portion of such wearer. [0014] Additionally, there is a plurality of specially designed pockets 40 and an attachment means 50 having a first portion (not shown) engageable with the pants panel portion 30 and a second portion (not shown) engageable with the specialized pockets 40 for removably attaching such specialized pockets 40 to the pants panel portion 30. Alternatively such pockets can be attached by sewing. The pants panel portion 30 provides protection to the wearer by covering at least a substantial portion of each such leg of such wearer, wherein the substantial portion could be as commonly known shorts or pants. [0015] The work pants 10 have a plurality of removably or permanently attached specialized pockets 40 which are configured for receiving and holding various work related equipment. The plurality of removably or permanently attached specialized pockets 40 utilize an attachment means 50 which is selected from a group consisting of sewing to permanently attached and hook and loop, and mechanical fasteners to removably attach specialized pockets 40 which are made from a group consisting of leather, cloth, plastic, nylon, cotton and polyester. In many cases the specialized pockets 40 are made from leather and are removably attached to the pants panel portion 30 through mechanical fasteners such as snaps and zippers. In most cases when the specialized pockets 40 will be removably attached it will be through the use of zippers. These specialized pockets 40 are commonly used to retain work related equipment in close proximity to the wearer's body. The work related equipment normally includes tools and supplies as would commonly be used during working activities. [0016] While both the presently preferred and a number of alternative embodiments of the present invention have been described in detail above it should be understood that various other adaptations and modifications of the present invention can be envisioned by those persons who are skilled in the relevant art without departing from either the spirit of the invention or the scope of the appended claims.
