BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0010] The invention is considered a Board Game and can be classified into USPTO Class-Subclass D21-345000 or Locarno Class-Subclass 21-01, respectively.

[0011] The Board Game "Think Twice" has its roots in the ancient two-dimensional board game known as (among other names) "Nine Mens Morris", "Nine Men's Morris", "Morelles", "Merrills", "Merels", "Merrels", "Morris" or "Mill". Development and history of "Nine Mens Morris" point back to 1400 BC (approximately). It can be considered the world's oldest board game.

[0012] However, a somewhat restricting characteristic of "Nine Mens Morris" is its bounded game area extending only into two directions (dimensions), consequently limiting the theoretically possible number of playable locations, as well as the number of only two persons.

BRIEF SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0013] The Board Game "Think Twice" combines a well known, ancient, basic game principle with the extending advantage to play by up to four persons, as well as to experience to freely move within a three-dimensional game area. Thus allowing a huge number of possibilities to form a combination three Tokens in a row compelling the opponent(s) to loose Tokens of their own.

[0014] The claimed Board Game is used as a table top game with a three-dimensional game area, composed by a Base (made of one single piece or from individual components), twenty four Sticks being placed into corresponding receptacles of the Base and four sets of Tokens (in four different colors, totaling to 80 pieces).

[0015] Assembled, the Board Game provides the possibility to arrange Tokens in horizontal (left/right) and vertical (up/down) direction. Each direction extends horizontally over three positions, vertically over three stories (levels) respectively.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE SEVERAL VIEWS OF THE DRAWING

[0016] FIG. 1 is a perspective view of the Board Game, showing the Board Game, being fully assembled;

[0017] FIG. 2 is a perspective view of the Base of the Board Game;

[0018] FIG. 3 is an enlarged perspective view of an individual Token;

[0019] FIG. 4 is an enlarged perspective view of an individual Stick;

[0020] FIG. 5 is an enlarged perspective view of an individual segment of the Base, showing the typically designed interconnections in-between the individual segments, and,

[0021] FIG. 6 is a perspective view of the Board Game, being fully assembled, with a possible configuration of Tokens as the would appear when being played by four persons.

[0022] The file of this patent contains at least one drawing in color. Copies of this patent with color drawing(s) will be provided by the Patent and Trademark Office upon request and payment of the necessary fee.
