FIELD OF THE INVENTION

[0001] The present invention relates to bath screen retainers, and in particular to a bath screen retainer, wherein the defects in the prior art is improved so that the whole structure can be steadily installed to a wall and firmly secured with a bath screen. Furthermore, the cambered telescopic rod can provide a greater moving space.

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

[0002] In the prior art, a bath screen is suspended from a ceiling plate by using a plurality of hooks suspended from a sliding track. Furthermore, the screen can be moved by adjusting the positions of the hooks. However this prior art way causes that the screen is difficult to detach for update or washing.

[0003] To improve the defect in the prior art, an improvement design is provided, as illustrated in FIG. 6, where a telescopic rod 8 is formed by tow rod bodies 81, 82 which are connected together. One end of each rod is installed with a plastic pad 811, 821. Interior of each rod has a retainer (not shown) so that rods 81, 82 can be pulled out. Then the telescopic rod 8 is rotated to have a desired length. Thereby in use, the user can install the bath screen 83 to the telescopic rod 8. The lengths of the two rod bodies 81, 82 of the telescopic rod 8 are adjustable to desired ones. Then the two rods 81, 82 are rotated so that the telescopic rod 8 has a length for being fixed to the two walls 9, 9a. The plastic pads 811, 821 are used as buffers and for increasing the friction forces between the telescopic rod 8 and the walls 9, 9a so that the bath screen 83 is fixed to he two walls 9, 9a.

[0004] Although the telescopic rod 8 can fix the screen 83 by using the sliding track, the telescopic rod 8 is a straight rod. However when the telescopic rod 8 is used, the bathing space will be confined. As a result the user is easy to touch the screen 83. Furthermore, only two rods 81, 82 and two pads 811, 821 are used to fix the telescopic rod 8 to the wall. Furthermore, the walls in bathroom are usually adhered with ceramic tiles. Vapor will make the pads 811, 821 slid on the walls 9, 9a so that the telescopic rod 8 cannot be firmly secured thereto.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

[0005] Accordingly, the primary object of the present invention is to provide a bath screen retainer, wherein improve the defects in the prior art so that the whole structure can be steadily installed to the wall and firmly secured with a bath screen. Furthermore, the cambered telescopic rod can provide a great moving space.

[0006] To achieve above objects, the present invention provides a bath screen retainer which comprises a cambered telescopic rod having a first pin portion and a second pin portion; a combining unit movably installed to the first pin portion of the telescopic rod; a first retainer movably installed to the second pin portion of the telescopic rod; a second retainer having a receiving portion at one side thereof for receiving the combining unit; and a resisting unit installed at another side of the second retainer and resisting against one end surface of the combining unit. The telescopic rod is formed by a first rod and a second rod connected to the first rod. Each of the first rod and the second retainer has a slit and a communication hole communicated to the slit.

[0007] The various objects and advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood from the following detailed description when read in conjunction with the appended drawing.

BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF THE DRAWINGS

[0008] FIG. 1 is a schematic perspective view of the present invention.

[0009] FIG. 2 is an exploded schematic view of the present invention.

[0010] FIG. 3 is another exploded schematic view of the present invention.

[0011] FIG. 4 is a schematic view viewing another orientation of the present invention.

[0012] FIG. 5 is a schematic view showing one application of the present invention.

[0013] FIG. 6 shows the use of the prior art.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

[0014] In order that those skilled in the art can further understand the present invention, a description will be provided in the following in details. However, these descriptions and the appended drawings are only used to cause those skilled in the art to understand the objects, features, and characteristics of the present invention, but not to be used to confine the scope and spirit of the present invention defined in the appended claims.

[0015] Referring to FIGS. 1 to 4, the structure of the present invention is illustrated. The present invention has the following elements.

[0016] A cambered telescopic rod 1 has a first rod 11 and a second rod 12 connected to the first rod 11. One end surface of the first rod 11 has a first pin portion 13. The first pin portion 13 has a first slit 131 and a first communication hole 132 communicated to the first slit 131. One end surface of the second rod 12 has a second pin portion 14. The second pin portion 14 has a second slit 141 and a second communication hole 142 communicated to the second slit 141.

[0017] A combining unit 2 is installed to the first pin portion 13 of the telescopic rod 1. One end of the combining unit 2 has a first tongue 21 with a through hole 211. Another end of the combining unit 2 has an extending section 22. One end surface of the extending section 22 has a stop plate 23. One end of the stop plate 23 has a first connecting hole 24. The first tongue 21 of the combining unit 2 is combined to the slit 131 of the first pin portion 13. A pin 25 is inserted into the first communication hole 132 and the first connecting hole 14.

[0018] A first retainer 3 is movably installed to the second pin portion 14 of the telescopic rod 1. The first retainer 3 is formed by a seat 31 and a second tongue 32 installed to one end of the seat 31 and movably connected to the second pin portion 14. The seat 31 has two retaining holes 33. The tongue 32 has a through hole 321. The tongue 32 of the first retainer 3 is combined to the second slit 141 of the second pin portion 14. A pin 34 is inserted to the second communication hole 142 and the through hole 321 of the second tongue 32.

[0019] A second retainer 4 has a second seat 41 and a penetrating hole 43. The second seat 41 has a receiving section 42. The penetrating hole 43 is communicated to the receiving section 42. The seat 41 has at least two retaining holes 44 and a corresponding hole 45 installed to the seat 41 so that the stop plate 23 of the combining unit 2 is movably combined to the receiving section 41. The second retainer 4 has at least two retaining holes 44.
