The present invention generally relates to a compound sports water bottle, in which re-filtering of water is carried out to provide concern-free water drinking, and is particularly applicable to water container that stores therein drinking water, such as a regular water kettle, a sports water flask, or the likes.
(b) DESCRIPTION OF THE PRIOR ART
Water takes approximately 70% by weight of human body. A person can still survive without taking food for 2-3 days, but he cannot live without drinking water for just one day. Water is of significant importance to human body. Water is even more important when a person takes physical exercises. Thus, whatever exercises a person is taking, he must be provided with a container that supplements water for him.
Commonly seen water containers include PET (Poly Ethylene Terephthalate) bottles that contain therein mineral water or other soft drinks, regular water kettles, and sports water flasks that are specifically designed for sports use. No matter whatever type a water container is, the container comprises a container body for receiving and storing a liquid and also has an opening or mouth that is coupled to a cap to allow water to be filled in the container body for easy carrying and for supplemental of water to the user at any time and any site.
However, the conventional water container, such as PET bottles and water kettles, have a single function of receiving and storing liquid or water therein and do not provide other functions. In view of this, the present invention aims to provide a compound sports water bottle in which re-filtering of water is carried out in order to provide concern-free water drinking.

OF THE INVENTION
An objective of the present invention is to provide a compound sports water bottle in which re-filtering of water is carried out in order to provide concern-free water drinking.
To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a compound sports water bottle that comprises a bottle body having an opening forming a fastening section and a bottle cover that comprises a counterpart fastening section. The bottle cover comprises a tube that extends through the cover. The tube has an end over which a slidable cover is movably fit, whereby the movement of the slidable cover forms an outlet opening. The tube has an opposite end to which a filter element forming a passage is coupled. As such, liquid contained in the bottle body is allowed to be filtered by the filter element before flowing out of the bottle through the passage, so that the liquid can be drunk in a concern-free manner.
In the compound sports water bottle described above, the counterpart fastening section of the bottle cover further comprises a sealing ring.
In the compound sports water bottle described above, the filter element comprise a filter of one of active charcoal, resin, far infrared, energy stone, and ceramics.
In the compound sports water bottle described above, the filter element that is coupled to the bottle cover comprises a fitting section that has a diameter smaller than the bottle cover, whereby with a combination of the fitting section with a filter sponge and a filter screen, the active charcoal is securely held together.
In the compound sports water bottle described above, the opening of the bottle body forms a stop rim, which prevents the outlet cap from separating from the opening.
Compared to the existing technology the present invention shows the following advantages:
(1) The bottle cover has an outlet opening inside which a filter element is mounted, whereby in drinking the liquid contained in the bottle, the liquid is first filtered by the filter element before being drunk, so as to realize concern-free drinking.
(2) Besides containing and storing water, the water bottle may also provide a filtering function.
(3) With the arrangement of the filter element that is simple in structure and low in cost, the water bottle is provided with an enhanced competition power in the market.

The following descriptions are exemplary embodiments only, and are not intended to limit the scope, applicability or configuration of the invention in any way. Rather, the following description provides a convenient illustration for implementing exemplary embodiments of the invention. Various changes to the described embodiments may be made in the function and arrangement of the elements described without departing from the scope of the invention as set forth in the appended claims.
The present invention will be described in detail with reference to a preferred embodiment thereof.
Referring to FIGS. 1 and 2, the present invention provides a compound sports water bottle 1, which comprises a bottle body 11, a bottle cover 12, an outlet cap 13, and a filter element 14. The bottle body 11 is a container that forms therein a receiving space or chamber. The container has an opening or mouth forming a thread to serve as a fastening section 111. The fastening section 111 has a top end forming a horizontal stop rim 112.
Also referring to FIG. 5, the bottle cover 12 has a lower portion that forms a counterpart fastening section 121 corresponding to and engageable with the fastening section 111 of the bottle body 11. The bottle cover 12 is provided centrally with a tube 122 that extends through the bottle cover 12. A central post 123 is formed inside the tube 122, and a stepped section 124 is formed around an outer circumference of the tube 122. The stepped section 124 receives an O-ring 125 fit thereto. The tube 122 comprises a slidable cover 126 that forms therein a reversed stepped section 127 and also has a top forming centrally a through hole.
The outlet cap 13 comprises a cap body that is selectively fit over the slidable cover 126. Projecting from one side of the cap body is a connection section 131 that is connected to a retention ring 132 defining a central bore.
The filter element 14 comprises a fitting section 141 that has a diameter smaller than the bottle cover 12 and forms centrally a passage 1411. The fitting section 141 has a lower end where a filter sponge 145 is arranged. The filter sponge 145 has a bottom to which a filter screen 143 carrying active charcoal 144 is coupled. The passage 1411 is coupled through the filter sponge 145 to the active charcoal 144, as shown in FIGS. 3 and 4. Further, the filter element 14 can be a filter of resin, far infrared, energy stone, or ceramics.
The outlet cap 13 is coupled through the retention ring 132 to the fastening section 111 of the bottle body 11 and is blocked by the stop rim 112 in order to prevent the outlet cap 13 from separating from the bottle body 11, while the bottle cover 12 is coupled through engagement between the fastening section 121 thereof with the fastening section 111 of the bottle body 11 so that with the outlet cap 13 fit to the slidable cover 126, a complete compound sports water bottle 1 is formed.
A liquid is introduced into the bottle body 11 through the fastening section 111 of the bottle body 11. The bottle cover 12 is then coupled to the bottle body 11 to allow the liquid to be easily carried. The outlet cap 13 can be selectively separated from the slidable cover 126, and a force may be applied to lift the slidable cover 126 upward, so that the through hole of the slidable cover 126 is moved off the central post 123 of the tube 122 to form an opening. The sports water bottle 1 may then be reversed, as shown in FIG. 5, so that the liquid contained in the bottle body 11 is allowed to flow through active charcoal 144 and the filter sponge 145 of the filter element 14 to be filtered thereby.
Also referring to FIG. 6, a different form of the sports water bottle, generally designated at 2, is shown. The sports water bottle 2 comprises a bottle body 21 having a top to which a bottle cover 22 is attached. The bottle cover 22 is connected through a connection section 231 to a top lid 23. The top lid 23 serves to close a water outlet in order to protect the water outlet from external contamination. The water outlet has a lower end to which a filter element 24 is fit to allow a liquid contained in the bottle body 21 to be filtered by the filter element 24 before flowing out of the water outlet.
It will be understood that each of the elements described above, or two or more together may also find a useful application in other types of methods differing from the type described above.
While certain novel features of this invention have been shown and described and are pointed out in the annexed claim, it is not intended to be limited to the details above, since it will be understood that various omissions, modifications, substitutions and changes in the forms and details of the device illustrated and in its operation can be made by those skilled in the art without departing in any way from the spirit of the present invention.
