Suspension hook   

TECHNICAL FIELD

The present invention relates in general to an arrangement which is directly related to a suspension hook, and more specifically to a suspension hook which is adapted for cooperation with a vertically orientable support, and which displays a, hereinafter referred as “anchorage portion” fixable to the support and adapted, via discrete fixing means, to be fixable against said support and a “hook portion” or catch portion coordinated with the anchorage portion and formed as a discrete unit.

More particularly, the suspension hook is intended to utilise an anchorage portion which displays a vertically directed elongate surface portion with a first set of barbs or other unevenness, and a hook portion which displays a surface section with a corresponding second set of barbs in order, in a position of cooperation of the sets of barbs, to retain said hook portion against the anchorage portion in a position set from among a plurality of optional positions and where a vertically directed load acting on the hook portion is adapted to be absorbed by said barbs allocated to said anchorage portion and said barbs allocated to said hook portion.

More particularly, the present invention relates to an arrangement in a suspension hook, where the hook portion, in a selected position, may assume a fixed and retainable cooperation with the anchorage portion, where this retainable cooperation may advantageously increase in dependence upon the size of the load disposed at the hook portion, and where the hook portion may in a simple manner be displaced to a vertically related position selected from among a plurality of optional positions.

The fixed cooperation is based on the feature that the first set of barbs allocated to the anchorage portion is, in fixed cooperation with the second set of barbs allocated to the hook portion while the intimated vertically related displacement is to be able to take place without such fixed cooperation.

BACKGROUND ART

Methods, arrangements and constructions relating to the above-disclosed technical field and disclosed property are previously known in the art in a plurality of different embodiments.

As then regards different hook arrangements of the nature disclosed by way of introduction, there are previously known in the art a plurality of different such arrangements comprising: a discrete anchorage portion fixable to a vertically orientable support via fixing means, a hook portion or catch portion discretely coordinated with this discrete anchorage portion; and where different means have been proposed in order to be able to retain said hook portion against the anchorage portion in a set position selectable from among a plurality thereof in order by such means to be able to vertically regulate an object suspended in said hook portion.

As a result of suspension hooks, composed of a plurality of said fixable anchorage portions and said displaceable hook portions the requirement is considerably reduced on causing orientation of the discrete fixable anchorage portion exactly at a predetermined vertical state or a position.

U.S. Pat. No. 6,557,813

This publication shows and describes an apparatus for making possible suspension of an object against a wall or a wall section and where the apparatus utilises a vertical guide (22) and a horizontally oriented rod (44) mounted at a body (30) displaceable in the vertical direction, where the rod (44) and the body are displaceably disposed along the vertical guide (22) and securable in one of four predetermined distinct positions.

More particularly, this disclosure calls for the utilisation of an additional horizontal rod (46) which is to be able to be displaced horizontally along the horizontal rod (44).

When the apparatus is to be put to use, the guide (22) is to be secured to the wall and a wall section while the additional rod (46) is to be secured to the rear side of a photograph or other article or the like which is to appear hanging along the wall section.

The distinct position of the article may be regulated by causing the displacement of the body (30) in steps along the guide (22) and/or the additional rod (46) along the horizontal rod (44).

U.S. Pat. No. 6,003,825

This publication discloses and describes an apparatus for being able to adjust a hanging object where a first rod (12) is adapted for cooperation with a wall section in a horizontal direction and a second rod (16) is oriented at right angles to said first rod and is provided with one or more hooks (30a) for cooperation with a wire which is secured to the object which is to assume a hanging position.

Also in this disclosure there is to be found a coordinating body (14) in order to be able to hold the rods (12, 16) in a set displaced position in relation to one another.

More specifically, it is here disclosed that the first rod (12) is to be secured to the wall section via end-related holes (12f) and anchorage elements adapted thereto and thereby the coordinating body (14) can be displaced horizontally along the first rod (12) while the second rod (16) is to be vertically displaceable in relation to the coordinating body.

This apparatus thereby offers a possibility of causing adjustment of the object also after the object assumes its hanging position.

This publication discloses and describes a suspension device with a rail (10) extending in a vertical direction, abutting against the wall portion, where this rail displays a first part (11) provided with barbs or teeth and oriented on a first side.

A support member of hook portion (12) abutting against the rail (10) displays a second part provided with barbs or teeth and with a toothed surface (13).

The support member (12) is pivotal towards the rail (10) on a vertical loading of the support member (12) so that the first toothed surface (11) enters into a fixed engagement with the second toothed surface (13).

This publication discloses and describes an arrangement with opposing barbs or teeth and where the retention force between the support member or hook portion (15) and an anchorage portion (10) is based on a vertical loading of the outer subportion of the hook unit.

This publication also discloses and describes an arrangement (2) in order to be able to hang an object (4) against a supporting surface (6) where this arrangement can be assumed to display a first horizontal portion (8) adapted for cooperation with the supporting surface (6), a second portion (10) which is horizontally displaceably related to the first portion (8), as well as a third portion (12) which is vertically displaceably disposed to said second portion (10).

The second portion (10) supports hook-displaying means (14) from which a selected object (4) can hang.

The second portion (10) is displaceably disposed in a horizontal direction while the third portion (12) is displaceably disposed in a vertical direction in order thereby to be able to adjust the hook-displaying means (14) in both a horizontal and a vertical direction.

This publication discloses and describes a hook arrangement where a first subportion (14) is fixable to a wall portion (7) and where a subportion (2) folded through 180° displays not only a hook-displaying means (4) but also moreover is formed with a slot (5) through which a screw (6) is intended to extend.

One alternative embodiment is produced and shown in FIG. 6 and there displays a hook subunit (21) of one piece formation and an anchorage subunit (19) of one piece formation with an inner “T” shaped groove (20) cooperating with one another via barbs or tooth shaped diverging side portions (23) and the edge portion (24).

This publication discloses and describes an apparatus (1) in order to be able to hold a hanging unit and where the apparatus comprises a first support member adapted in order therewith to be able to secure the apparatus to a load absorbing structure and a second support member (30) adapted to support the hanging unit.

Here are disclosed first and second adjustment means (10, 20) which display elongate parts (12, 22) coupled to elongate grooves (18, 28).

The adjustment apparatuses can be fixed independently of one another in different positions.

This publication discloses an apparatus to be able to hang up pictures or other units and which consists of a retainer element (A) fixable to the picture and a guide (B) fixable to a wall portion and adjusting a vertical position.

More particularly, it is here disclosed that the retainer element (A) and the guide (B) are releasable united to one another via a laterally oriented opening in the retainer element (A) in order thereby to be able to offer a quick mounting of the two parts.

Taking into account the circumstance that the technical considerations which a person skilled in the art must do in order to be able to offer a solution to one or more posed technical problems is, on the one hand, initially a necessary insight into the measures and/or the sequence of measures which are to be adopted and, on the other hand, a necessary selection of the means required, in view hereof the following technical problems are likely to be relevant in the evolution of the subject matter of the present invention.

Taking into account the state of the art as described above, it should probably therefore be seen as a technical problem, in an arrangement relating to a suspension hook with a discrete anchorage portion fixable to a vertically orientable support via fixing means and a discrete hook portion or catch portion coordinated with the anchorage portion, said anchorage portion displaying an elongate surface portion with barbs and said hook portion displaying a surface portion with corresponding barbs in order, in a position with the barbs in cooperation to cause said hook portion to be fixedly retained against the anchorage portion in one set position selectable from among a plurality thereof and where a vertical load acting on the hook portion is adapted to be absorbed by said barbs allocated to the hook portion and barbs allocated to the anchorage portion to be able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to be able to structure the hook portion so that, in a simple manner, it may guidably be displaced along the anchorage portion and, in a set selected position automatically to be able to merge into a position cooperating with said anchorage portion in order, in that position, to be able to absorb vertically directed loadings acting on the hook portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause a first elongate set of barbs, teeth and/or other unevenness allocated to the anchorage portion, and a second short set of barbs, teeth and/or other unevenness allocated to the hook portion to cooperate with one another at said selected position and, on a displacement of the hook portion along the barbs of the anchorage portion to create the preconditions for a bending or a release of the second set of barbs from the first set.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said surface portion associated with the hook portion with its second set of barbs to display two series-oriented surface sections, a first surface section structured with said barbs and an adjacent and superjacent second surface section structured without barbs, for example planar.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said barbs associated with the hook portion to be disposed and oriented adjacent and laterally oriented to a plane allocated to the second surface section.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said surface portion associated with the hook portion to be adapted, with said first surface section, to merge into a short surface section integrated therewith but slightly longer than said first surface section.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause a planar surface portion to be oriented adjacent a spiculated hook portion or end portion allocated to the hook portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said planar surface section to be related to a thin tongue-like portion which, in such instance, is resilient towards the spiculated end portion of the hook portion on an activating compressive force in order to change the position of the hook portion along the anchorage portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause a rotation, caused by the activating compressive force, of the hook portion about an allocated horizontal axis of rotation against a resilient counterforce generated by the fixing of the thin tongue-like portion in the hook portion to be adaptable so as to release the barbed short surface section of the hook portion from the barbed elongate surface portion of the anchorage portion and thereby offer a simple displacement of the hook portion along the anchorage portion from a first selected set position to another selectable position by causing only the planar surface section to be displaced along the region of the barbs associated with the anchorage portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said hook portion to display an elongate recess or a cavity adapted for free cooperation with a rail associated with the anchorage portion and where said cooperation makes for a stop of rotation of the hook portion under a loading.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said cooperation to be adapted so as to form a resistance for said hook portion at a position where the barbs cooperate.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said rail to be formed with a thin or narrow portion facing towards the anchorage portion and a wider portion facing away from the anchorage portion for the formation of a “T” formed in cross section, associating with and slightly exceeding the cross section of the elongate recess.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause laterally related barbs oriented on each side of a narrow portion associated with the rail to be given a width corresponding to twice the width of said narrow portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause an end portion of the hook portion to be adapted so as to extend through and ideally slightly past a free end termination associated with the planar surface portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said tongue-like portion to be adapted so as to extend past a centre line allocated to the hook portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said planar surface section to be adapted to extend towards and an adapted distance past said axis of rotation.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause the ratio between the elongate extent of the planar surface section and the barbed surface section to be selected at a ratio of greater than 1:1, alternatively that the ratio shall be selected to be less than 2:1.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said hook portion to display a substantially parallelepipedic basic body or basic configuration with a hook unit integrated with the basic body as a narrower section whose end portion is adapted to extend towards and/or an adapted short distance past a portion terminating the basic body.

There further resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said barbed first surface section to be adapted to extend over said planar second surface section a distance corresponding to or slightly exceeding a depth allocated to the barbs.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to form the anchorage portion and/or the barbs so that an increasing loading will be adapted to increasingly press barbs associated with the hook portion towards barbs associated with the anchorage portion.

There resides a technical problem in being able to realise the importance of, the advantages associated with and/or the technical measures and considerations which will be required in order to cause said barbs to be structured as a saw tooth form, with each bearing surface formed from a portion with a selected angle towards said plane.

In such instance, the present invention takes as its point of departure the prior art as disclosed by way of introduction and where this prior art is based on an arrangement which is related to a suspension hook with a discrete anchorage portion fixable via fixing means to a vertically orientable support, and with a discrete hook portion or catch portion coordinated with the anchorage portion, said anchorage portion displaying an elongate surface portion with barbs and said hook portion displaying a short surface portion with corresponding barbs in order, in a position with the barbs cooperating, to fixedly retain said hook portion against the anchorage portion in one set position selectable from among a plurality thereof and where a vertically directed loading acting on the hook portion is adapted to be absorbed by and offer a cooperation between aid barbs associated with the hook portion and barbs associated with the anchorage portion.

In order to be able to resolve one or more of the above-disclosed technical problems, the present invention particularly discloses that the prior art is to be supplemented with the feature that said surface portion associated with the hook portion is to display two series-oriented surface sections, a first surface section structured with said barbs and an adjacent second surface section structured in any event with a slidable, for example planar, lower surface.

In addition, it is disclosed that said barbs are to be disposed and be oriented adjacent and laterally oriented a second lower plane associated with the surface section and connecting to the planar lower surface.

As preferred embodiments falling within the scope of the basic concepts of the present invention, it is moreover disclosed that said surface section associated with the hook portion is adapted to merge, with said first surface section, into an integrated short planar surface section however slightly longer than said surface section.

The present invention also discloses that the planar surface section is to be oriented adjacent a spiculated hook portion or end portion allocated to the hook portion.

Said planar surface section is to be related to a thin tongue-like portion and thereby be resilient on an activating compressive force against the spiculated end portion of the hook portion.

The present invention further discloses that a rotation, caused by the activating compressive force, of the hook portion about an allocated axis of rotation against a resilient counterforce generated by the anchorage of the thin tongue-like portion in the hook portion, is adaptable in order to release the barbed surface section of the hook portion from the elongate barbed surface section of the anchorage portion and thereby create a simple displacement of the hook portion along the anchorage portion, from a first selected set position to a second selected position from among a plurality of other selectable positions.

In particular, the present invention discloses that said hook portion is to display an elongate recess or a cavity adapted for free cooperation with a rail associated with the anchorage portion and where said cooperation makes for a stop of said rotation of the hook portion under a loading.

The present invention further discloses that said cooperation is to be adapted so as to form an abutment for the rotary movement of said hook portion in a position where the barbs cooperate.

In such instance, the present invention discloses that said rail is to be formed with a thin or narrow portion facing towards the anchorage portion and a broad portion facing away from the anchorage portion for the formation of a “T” formed in cross section.

According to the illustrated embodiment, it is proposed that barbs, oriented on each side of the narrow portion of a rail are to be given a width corresponding to twice the width of said narrow portion.

The present invention further discloses that an end portion is to be adapted so as to extend towards and ideally somewhat past the end termination associated with the planar surface section.

Said tongue-like portion is to be adapted to extend past a centre line allocated to the hook portion.

According to the invention, it is further disclosed that said planar surface section is to be disposed to extend towards and an adapted distance past said axis of rotation.

There is further disclosed a specific relationship between the longitudinal extent of the planar surface section and the barbed surface section and where this relationship is to be selected to be greater than 1:1, preferably less than 2:1.

The present invention further discloses that said hook portion is to display a substantially parallelepipedic basic form or basic body with a hook unit integrated with the basic body as a narrow section whose end portion is adapted to extend towards and an adapted short distance past a portion terminating the basic body.

More particularly, it is disclosed that said barbed first surface section is to be adapted to extend over said planar second surface section a distance corresponding to or slightly exceeding a depth allocated to the barbs.

More particularly, the present invention discloses that said loading is to be adapted to be able to press barbs associated with the hook portion against barbs associated with the anchorage portion and this may then be offered in that barbs are structured as a saw tooth form with bearing surfaces formed from a portion with an acute angel to said plane.

Those advantages which may principally be deemed to be characteristic of the present invention and the specific significative characterising features disclosed thereby are that there have hereby been created the preconditions in order, in an arrangement related to a suspension hook, to created the preconditions in order, with the aid of a utilised hook portion, integrally formed with a resilient and tongue-like portion, where the hook portion displays a surface section associated with the hook portion which is to display two series-oriented surface sections, a first surface section structured with barbs and an adjacent second surface section structured to be planar.

The barbs are related to an anchorage portion in a first set and barbs are related to a hook portion in a second set and that, during a displacement movement of the hook portion along the anchorage portion, these are released from one another and when a set position is reached to permit corresponding barbs to cooperate with one another and in addition cause said barbs to be disposed and oriented adjacent and laterally oriented a lower plane allocated to the second surface section.

That which may principally be deemed to be characteristic of the present invention is disclosed in the characterising clause of appended Claim 1.

A number of currently proposed embodiments displaying the significative characterising features associated with the present invention will now be described in greater detail hereinbelow for purposes of exemplification with reference to the accompanying Drawings, where:

FIG. 1 is a perspective view of an arrangement disclosed according to the present invention related to a suspension hook of a first embodiment with a discrete anchorage portion and a discrete hook portion, where the hook portion here assumes a selected position of adjustment or a fixed position;

FIG. 2 is a longitudinal section showing the arrangement according to FIG. 1 in association with the anchorage of the hook portion and relationship to the anchorage portion;

FIG. 3 shows only the hook portion in a first view in perspective presentation;

FIG. 4 shows, on a slightly larger scale, the position of the hook portion during a displacement movement;

FIG. 5 shows, on a slightly larger scale, the cooperation of the hook portion with the anchorage portion for absorbing a load;

FIG. 6 is an exploded view in a position where the barbs associated with the anchorage portion and the barbs associated with the hook portion are illustrated in a closely cooperating position;

FIG. 7 shows, on a slightly larger scale, cooperation of the hook portion with the anchorage portion for absorbing a load, in a second embodiment;

FIG. 8 shows, on a slightly larger scale, the position of the hook portion during a displacement movement;

FIG. 9 is a longitudinal section showing an arrangement in association with the anchorage of the hook portion and relationship to the anchorage portion; and

FIG. 10 shows a cross section through the arrangement.

By way of introduction, it should be emphasised that, in the following description of two currently preferred embodiments which display the significative characterising features associated with the present invention and which are clarified by means of the accompanying Drawings, we have selected terms and a special terminology with the intention in such instance principally of clarifying the inventive concept as herein disclosed.

However, it should be observed in this context that the expressions selected here should not be seen as restrictive exclusively to the terms utilised here and selected but it should be understood that each such term is to be interpreted so that, in addition, it encompasses all technical equivalents which function in the same or substantially the same manner in order in such instance to be able to attain the same or substantially the same intention and/or technical effect.

With reference to accompanying FIGS. 1 to 7, the Drawings schematically and in detail show the basic preconditions for the present invention in a first embodiment and where the significative properties associated with the present invention have been given concrete form as a result of the now proposed and hereinbelow more closely described first embodiment.

Thus, FIG. 1 illustrates an arrangement 1, relating to a suspension hook with a discrete anchorage portion 4 fixable via fixing means 3 (3) to a vertically orientable support 2 and with a discrete hook portion or catch portion 5 coordinated with the anchorage portion 4.

Said anchorage portion 4 displays an elongate surface section 4a with series-oriented barbs 6, and said hook portion 5 displays a surface section 5a with corresponding barbs 7.

More particularly, this is a matter of the feature that said anchorage portion 4 is to display an elongate, vertically directed surface section 4a with a first set of barbs 6, and that said hook portion 5 is to display a short vertically directed surface section 5a with a second set of corresponding barbs 7, where the barbs 6 and 7 correspond to one another.

In a position of cooperation for the barbs 6, 7 (see FIG. 5), these fixedly retained said hook portion 5 against the anchorage portion 4 where a loading “F” is adapted to be absorbed by a clamping cooperation between said barbs 7 associated with the hook portion and said barbs 6 associated with the anchorage portion.

More particularly, it is illustrated that said barbs 7 associated with the hook portion are related to the surface section 5a associated with the hook portion which displays two series-oriented surface sections 8, 9, a first surface section 8, structured with said barbs 7 associated with the hook portion and an adjacent second surface section 9 structured slidably over the barbs 6, for example planar, and that said barbs 7 are to be disposed and be oriented adjacent and laterally oriented a lower plane “P” allocated to the lower plane of the second surface section 9.

It is further disclosed that said surface section 5a associated with the hook portion is to be adapted, with said first surface section 8, to merge into an integrated short planar surface section 9 but nevertheless slightly longer than said surface section 8 and where the planar surface section 9 is oriented to terminate adjacent a spiculated hook portion or end portion 5b allocated to the hook portion 5.

A rotation, caused by an activating compressive force “F1” (see FIG. 4) of the hook portion 5 about an allocated axis of rotation 5c against a resilient resistance generated by the anchorage of the tongue-like portion 9 in the hook portion 5 is adaptable for lifting and releasing the barbed surface section 8 of the hook portion 5 from the barbed 6 elongate surface portion 4a of the anchorage portion and thereby offer a simple displacement of the discrete hook portion 5 along the anchorage portion 4 from a first selected position of adjustment to another selected position (according to FIG. 1).

Said hook portion 5 displays an elongate recess 10 or a cavity adapted for free cooperation with a rail 11 associated with the anchorage portion and where said cooperation makes for a stop of a rotational tendency of the hook portion 5 under a loading “F”.

Said cooperation is adapted to form an abutment for said hook portion 5 in a position of cooperation of the barbs 6, 7, according to FIG. 5.

More specifically, it is disclosed that said rail 11 is formed with a thin or narrow portion 12 facing towards the anchorage portion 4 and a broad portion 13 facing away from the anchorage portion 4 for forming a “T” in cross section.

It is hereby disclosed that the barbs 6, 6a may be oriented on either side of a narrow portion 12 of the rail 11 and are given a width corresponding approximately to twice the width of said narrow portion 12.

An end portion 5b is adapted to extend towards and ideally somewhat past an end termination 9a associated with the planar surface section 9 and with a distance “d1”.

It is more particularly disclosed that said planar surface section 9 is to be disposed to extend towards and an adaptive distance past said angle of rotation 5c, where this distance is designated “d2”.

The relationship between the total longitudinal extent of the planar surface section 9 and the barbed surface section 8 is selected to be a ratio which is greater than 1:1 and respectively to less than 2:1.

Said hook portion 5 displays a substantially parallelepipedic basic form or basic body 5d with a hook unit 5e integral with the basic body 5d as a narrow superjacent section whose end portion 5b is adapted to extend towards and an adapted short distance past a portion 5f terminating the basic body after said end termination.

More particularly, the invention discloses that said barbed first surface section 8 is to be adapted to extend over said planar second surface section 9 a distance “d3” corresponding to or slightly exceeding a depth allocated to the barbs 8.

Of importance to the illustrated embodiment is that the bending or rotation of the hook portion 5 about the axis of rotation 5c will be of such an extent that the cooperation between the barbs 8 and the barbs 6 ceases.

It is more particularly disclosed to cause said loading “F” to be adapted to urge the barbs 8 associated with the hook portion towards the barbs 6 associated with the anchorage portion by causing said barbs 8, 6 to be structured as a saw tooth configuration, according to FIG. 6, with bearing surfaces 15 for the barbs 6 and bearing surfaces 16 for the barbs 7 formed from a portion with a right angle (or slightly acute angle) in relation to said plane “P”.

With reference to FIG. 1, it should particularly be observed that the anchorage portion 4 is given a slightly thinner form at its upper end portion and in association with the fixing means 3 than at its lower end portion and in association with the fixing means (3).

The thickness difference can in the normal case be selected to 2-5 mm, depending upon the length of the anchorage portion.

The holes for the fixing means 3 and (3) are advantageously directed at right angles to the surface 4a and thereby give a slightly oblique positioning downwards at the anchorage to a vertical “V” wall portion 31 (2).

Said fixing means 3 (3) can depending upon the substrate of the wall portion 31 be selected as nails, screws, plaster board nails, concrete pins and the like.

FIG. 6 is intended to illustrate the cross sectional configuration of the barbs which are associated to a saw tooth configuration where force absorbing surfaces 16 are at right angles in relation to force absorbing surfaces 15 associated with the anchorage portion where these surfaces are oriented at right angles to the surface 4a and which in that the anchorage portion 4 is tapering upwards will be inclined somewhat upwards from a horizontal plane.

This is illustrated with some exaggeration in FIG. 6.

It is particularly disclosed that the distance between adjacent barbs should be selected to correspond to or slightly exceed 1.0 mm but should not exceed 5.0 mm.

FIGS. 7 to 10 are intended to illustrate in different side elevations a second embodiment of a hook portion.

This second embodiment is intended to clarify in cross section the significant coordination for the present invention between the anchorage portion and a new embodiment of the hook portion.

In FIG. 7 to 10, corresponding parts in the embodiment according to FIG. 1 to 6 have been utilised.
