Display rack

Abstract: A display rack includes a plurality of boards and each board includes a plurality of holes defined in a top surface and a bottom surface thereof. A plurality of connection members each have two ends which are inserted into the holes in the bottom surface of one board and the holes in the top surface of another board so as to connect the boards in the longitudinal direction. The connection member may include two parallel tubular bodies so as to connect the boards in the transversal direction. (end of abstract)

BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a display rack which includes a plurality of boards and a plurality of connection members which connect the boards in both longitudinal and transversal directions.

2. The Prior Arts

A conventional display rack generally is made by wood, metal or plastic. The wood requires a lot of trees, which is considered as not friendly to environmental protection, and the metal is too heavy. Plastic is an ideal material for making the display rack but it is not convenient to be assembled and cannot bear heavy loads.

The present invention provides a display rack composed of boards and connection members, and the two ends of the connection members are inserted into holes in the boards, such that the boards can be connected to each other in both longitudinal and transversal directions.

SUMMARY OF THE INVENTION

A primary objective of the present invention is to provide a display rack, which includes boards with high structural strength and load-bearing capacity.

Another objective of the present invention is to provide a display rack, which is easily assembled and is able to vary its size by connecting more boards.

According to the present invention, a display rack comprises a plurality of boards and each board has a plurality of holes defined in a top surface and a bottom surface thereof. A plurality of connection members each have two ends which are inserted into the holes in the bottom surface and the top surface of the boards so as to connect the boards in the longitudinal direction. The connection members may include two tubular bodies such that the boards can be connected in the transversal direction.

FIG. 3 is an exploded view showing that the display rack is composed of two different shapes of boards and two different types of connection members;

FIG. 4 is a top view of the board of the display rack in accordance with the present invention, and

FIG. 5 shows another type of the connection member of the display rack in accordance with the present invention.
