HairbrushHairbrush description/claimsThe Patent Description & Claims data below is from USPTO Patent Application 20090070951, Hairbrush. Brief Patent Description - Full Patent Description - Patent Application Claims This patent application is related to and claims priority from U.S. Provisional Patent Application Ser. No. 60/973,473 filed Sep. 19, 2007. FIELD OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention relates, in general, to hairbrushes and, more particularly, this invention relates to a hairbrush having two handles. BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTIONPrior to the conception and development of the present invention, hairbrushes, as are generally well known in the prior art, have been used to brush and style hair. However, it is often the case that other styling devices, such as a hairdryer or hairspray and the like, are being utilized at the same time as such hairbrush. Using such plurality of items at the same time can be a difficult and frustrating task. For example, a trend in today's hair styling techniques is to use a round type hairbrush drawn through the hair and wind it upward to hold such hair in place while a hairdryer is utilized to blow heated air on such hair resulting in curling and/or voluminization of such hair. Another trend is to draw a brush through hair and downward closely adjacent the ends of such hair and while holding such hair tautly with such brush to blow heated air on such hair to straighten such hair. These techniques are difficult for a non-ambidextrous person to perform since at least one of the hairbrush and the hairdryer is being held in such person's non-dominant hand. Furthermore, if such person wishes to roll the hair with the dominant hand and then hold the brush with the non-dominant hand the placement of the handle on a single side of such hairbrush results in a problem as such person may be unable to comfortably reach such handle, may block his/her vision while attempting to reach such handle, may block the direct path of warm air to such hair on such brush, may crush or otherwise disturb sections of previously styled hair, and the like. Specifically of interest to the present invention are the following: Ehrman, U.S. Pat. No. 6,510,816 discloses a brush for horses formed with two distinct stiffness of bristles arrayed in a linearly tapered height arrangement. Hard bristles first pull up dander, loose animal hair and other debris and a following set of soft bristles sweep them away before they get a chance to settle back down. Cleaning and brushing directional action can be maintained regardless of which hand the user employs by virtue of either a pair of handles disposed on opposite ends of the central bristle-carrying brush portion. Tabor, U.S. Design Pat. No. D398,157 discloses the ornamental design for a dual handled handbroom. Teller, U.S. Publication No. US 2006/0042648 discloses a hairbrush having an elongated member or shaft with handles of dimensionally equivalent weight, shape and length rigidly attached to, and extending from, both sides of the shaft. Around the elongated central member is a tubular brush block formed with a plurality of air slots between radial tufts of brush bristles, so that air blown from a hot air styling dryer can be directed against the brush as the hair is brushed or as locks of hair are wrapped around the brush block to quickly straighten the hair. SUMMARY OF THE INVENTIONThe present invention provides a hairbrush. Such hairbrush includes a bristle holding member having a first end and a second end. Such hairbrush is manufactured from a first predetermined material and has a first predetermined size and a first predetermined shape. A plurality of brush bristles are operably connected to such bristle holding member at predetermined locations thereon, such plurality of brush bristles are manufactured from a second predetermined material and have a second predetermined size and a second predetermined shape. A first handle member is operably connected to the first end of such bristle holding member. The first handle member is manufactured from a third predetermined material and has a third predetermined size and a third predetermined shape. A second handle member is releasably connectable to the second end of such bristle holding member. Such second handle member is manufactured from a fourth predetermined material and has a fourth predetermined shape and a fourth predetermined size. A securing means has a first portion disposed on such bristle holding member and a second mating portion disposed on such second handle member for releasably securing such bristle holding member to such second handle member. According to another embodiment, a hairbrush is provided which includes a bristle holding member having a first end and a second end. Such bristle holding member is manufactured from a first predetermined material and has a first predetermined size and a first predetermined shape. A plurality of brush bristles are operably connected to such bristle holding member at predetermined locations thereon. such plurality of brush bristles are manufactured from a second predetermined material and have a second predetermined size and a second predetermined shape. A first handle member is releasably connectable to such first end of such bristle holding member. Such first handle member is manufactured from a third predetermined material and has a third predetermined size and a third predetermined shape. A second handle member is releasably connectable to such second end of such bristle holding member. Such second handle member is manufactured from a fourth predetermined material and has a fourth predetermined shape and a fourth predetermined size. A first securing means has a first portion disposed on such bristle holding member closely adjacent such first end thereof and a second mating portion disposed on such first handle member for releasably securing such bristle holding member to such first handle member. A second securing means has a first portion disposed on such bristle holding member closely adjacent such second end thereof and a second mating portion disposed on such second handle member for releasably securing such bristle holding member to such second handle member. OBJECTS OF THE INVENTIONIt is, therefore, one of the primary objects of the present invention to provide a hairbrush having a second releasably attachable handle. Another object of the present invention is to provide a hairbrush which will enable a user to comfortably hold such brush in either his or her right or left hand interchangeably. Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a hairbrush which can easily and comfortably be used to style hair while at least one other styling tool is being implemented. An additional object of the present invention is to provide a hairbrush which can be drawn through hair with one hand of a user then held in place by a second hand of such user with ease and comfort. Yet another object of the present invention is to provide a styling tool which will enable a user to save time when styling hair and grooming. Still another object of the present invention is to provide a hairbrush which includes two removable handles, one at either end of a bristle holding member, it is contemplated that such removable handles will be attachable to bristle holding members of various sizes thereby decreasing the amount of space needed for storing and transporting styling tools and increasing the ease with which a user may style his or her own hair or someone else's hair. In addition to the various objects and advantages of the present invention described with some degree of specificity above it should be obvious that additional objects and advantages of the present invention will become more readily apparent to those persons who are skilled in the relevant art from the following more detailed description of the invention, particularly, when such description is taken in conjunction with the attached drawing figures and with the appended claims.
