Body tone exercise bricks description/claims

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to exercise equipment, and more specifically to body tone exercise bricks.

2. Description of the Related Art

A yoga brick is generally used to help a user in the practice of the yoga positions, providing support for some yoga positions where the user's body needs to deepen stretches.

U.S. Pat. No. 7,156,791 discloses a yoga grip block, comprising one or more block sections and a grip section that provide support and comfort in the practice of yoga exercises. However, the yoga grip block only has function to practice yoga exercises such that it has fewer modes to take exercise. Thus, the yoga grip block is difficult to train the user's muscles of other portions.

The present invention has been accomplished in view of the above-noted circumstances. It is one objective of the present invention to provide a body tone exercise brick, which has a variety of exercise modes to train user's muscles of various portions.

To achieve this objective of the present invention, the body tone exercise brick comprises a brick body having a receiving chamber opened upward, a bar detachably mounted in the receiving chamber of the brick body, and a pair of weight members alternatively placed in the receiving chamber of the brick body or detachably coupled to two ends of the bar.

Thus, a user not only can practice yoga exercises though the brick body but also can build muscles by means of a dumbbell assembled by the bar and the weight members.

Further scope of applicability of the present invention will become apparent from the detailed description given hereinafter. However, it should be understood that the detailed description and specific examples, while indicating preferred embodiments of the invention, are given by way of illustration only, since various changes and modifications within the spirit and scope of the invention will become apparent to those skilled in the art from this detailed description.

The present invention will become more fully understood from the detailed description given herein below and the accompanying drawings which are given by way of illustration only, and thus are not limitative of the present invention, and wherein:

FIG. 1 is an exploded view of the body tone exercise brick according to a preferred embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 2 is a top view of the body tone exercise brick according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention;

FIG. 3 is a cross-sectional view of the body tone exercise brick according to the preferred embodiment of the present invention, showing that the bar is inserted in the insertion grooves of the brick body;

FIG. 4 is a schematic drawing showing that the body tone exercise brick is used for yoga positions, and

FIG. 5 is a schematic drawing showing that two body tone exercise bricks are used for push-up exercise.
